How I became a best-selling author…

It was springtime in post-COVID America. By all outward appearances, I had it all. I was a highly successful corporate executive leading a big initiative at a top company. I had advanced degrees, licenses, and credentials in business, financial services, and law. I lived in a comfortable home in a nice neighborhood. I had family and good friends who loved me. And yet, for all my outward success, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was missing something. That I was meant to contribute more. But what?

To find the answer, I stepped away from my corporate career and embarked on a season of exploration. That journey led me to write my own story in a book called Up from the Water.

When Up from the Water hit best-seller in its debut week and began to win awards, I knew I had something unique to contribute. Through the process of writing my story, I came to understand more deeply how meeting and embracing change with integrity and intentionality can not only change the course of our individual lives and careers, but also uplift and empower those around us and impact our organizations in transformative ways.

I now offer my time, talent, and experience through both keynote speaking and executive coaching and career transition consulting to guide others to step into the fullness of their God-given power to successfully navigate their own pivotal career moments and achieve next-level success, both for themselves and for the organizations they serve.
